“Get Down and Dirty”
Pi Kapps aren't afraid of a little mud. USA has a proud (and dirty) tradition: OOoozeball!! This annual tournament is sponsored by the USA Southerners. Oozeball is volleyball in a pit of gooey mud.
2008 marked the 20th anniversary of Oozeball at South Alabama, which explains one of its catchy themes: "Mudslinging for 20 years." The 20-year tradition had some big changes: a new location, five new courts and 56 teams. Each year is a lot of fun!
Oozeball originated in 1989 and will be played this year on April 25! Pi Kapps can have as many 6-8 person teams as we can form. So get your friends together and form a team. Each team member MUST fill out a Release of Liability form, and all team members under 19 years of age must also have a guardian sign. This form must be signed in the presence of two witnesses.
Release form is available at http://www.southalabama.edu/alumni/oozeball/releaseofliability.pdf
