You selected: "I was in a fraternity/sorority when I was in college and had a good experience."
That's wonderful - now let your son have one, too!
First of all, let us congratulate you. Certainly, you didn't regret your decision to join a fraternity/sorority in college. Now that your son is going to college, you should give him the same opportunity.
And you should especially support him if he wants to join Pi Kappa Phi, even if you were a member in a different fraternity.
Pi Kappa Phi is America's Leading Fraternity and the #1 in making young men the leaders of today and tomorrow. Through extensive leadership programs like "The Journey", your son will have the opportunity to attend Stephen Covey Leadership Conferences and Seminars with Fortune 100 Trainers that will do anything they can to help him become a leader.
Probably even more important than The Journey is the brotherhood within Pi Kappa Phi.
Our fraternity is nationwide, which means that wherever you want to go, you'll find a Pi Kappa Chapter (the author of this web site went to California for Spring Break and lived in 5 different chapters in L.A. for a week...a sensational experience). Also, we don't haze. When you see your son, he won't have broken bones and red marks from slaps in his face, but you'll see a smiling boy who enjoys his time in college more than most college students.
And if you are afraid that joining a fraternity will lower your son's grades - think again. If you'd like to get to know us before you let your son join "some fraternity" and live close to Mobile, we highly encourage you to visit us at the Pi Kapp House sometime. If you don't want to come to the house, but live close to Mobile, we can probably visit you, too.
Or just send us a message by clicking on the Contact Us link under the Contact tab on the menu bar. We will give you a lot more information about Pi Kappa Phi.
Even easier: Go ahead and give us some information about yourself so we can begin to get to know you and get in touch with you. Fill out the Potential Member Form by clicking the Sign Up link under the Join tab on the menu bar.
Then look around the website, because you will find a lot of helpful information here.
